The Heel Wedge can be used in any closed outdoor or sports shoe by simply placing it in the heel area of one (or both) shoe(s).
In the case of arthrosis of the ankle-, knee-, or hip joint, congenital leg length inequality or after a hip- or knee implantation, the Heel Wedge reduces heel strike impact and, by not straining the affected articular cartilage, increases comfort and eases or even prevents pain.
