In the case of bleeding during peri- or postmenopause early diagnosis of endometrial carcinoma requires curettage or endometrial biopsy.Endorette is an economic and patient friendly alternative to conventional curettage. Endorette can easily be inserted due to its construction with a closed blunt tip and 4 openings on the sides. Normally a prior dilation is not necessary. The built in suction shank guarantees ideal negative pressure for gentle suction of cellular samples.
Endorette is simple and safe to handle: Insert - draw out the suction shank - move Endorette through the Cavum uteri - extract while holding the shank - cut off the tip - rinse Endorette in a container with the transport medium (e.g. formalin). Endorette is a product for single-use. Cleaning, sterilising and complex suction units are unnecessary.
